I know it's a year old, but I just found it and giggled.
Yep done all that, simpler
Yep done all that, simpler happier days *sigh* all this new fangled correctness and modurn browsers just dragged everything down, there no fun any more still have the 'under construction' animated construction worker somewhere must drag it out and use it as an avatar
I find the term "webmaster"
I find the term "webmaster" to be a curious one. My understanding is that it is supposed to mean "master of a particular website". I've never felt comfortable using the term myself, since to me it seems to imply that one is "master of the web" and all things web related. It seems like such a lofty title. How many can say they've actually "mastered" this business? Some people here, I have no doubt... but I think most of the rest of us know our limitations all too well. Am I the only one who feels the title is one that has to be earned to some degree?
That open letter was pretty funny, and at the same time amazed me that someone out there would call his or her self a "webmaster" and still make such unbelievable dumb-arsed mistakes.
It doesn't need to be earned
It doesn't need to be earned as it's a title you wouldn't want as a Web Developer or Coder, I tend to think of it as a disparaging title nowadays and those that would use it tend not to be coders.
