Hi All,
I am currently working on a site and wondered if anyone would care to offer any advice. All browsers and resolutions please.

Any advice on branding would be useful too.

Many thanks and have a Merry Christmas.

Work in progress

HI All,
The site is now live. I haven't added any keywords but still it is listed in google, when I search specifically for it. Do we really need keywords?

I suppose using keywords would increase my ranking on a general search, wouldn't it?

Hi Andy

Long time no see. Still with Supanames?

Looks great, but chnage the small text at the bottom to sans serif.

As to Google. Keywords (up to 75 chars) and description help. They rank differently now, and the frequency of the keywords found on the page seems to push it up too.

Hi Treva,

It has been a long time. I am still on SN, not many sites on there now. I am moving things over to JeeWhizz's SiteHQ as and when they come up for renewal although tinkering with the notion of getting a managed server.
You left SN didn't you? On ddn a lot these days. Keep in touch, I think I have your email addy somewhere....

Thanks for the info on Google.

Hi Andy

Yes, I moved over to [edited by ClevaTreva] Hosting. $10 a month (no steup cost) got me 1.2gb HD and 52gb bandwidth a month. They have been great, tech support is great. Super access to the server features. The account is a reseller account with no limitations as far as I can see, or yet found. Up time is about 99% (I montior it at siteuptime.com). I have my own dns server names and my own IP address, all for less than £6 a month and as many domains as I can squeeze on it!

The box is actually a [edited by ClevaTreva] box in Dallas, I think.

Trevor

Added: Whoops, no advertising. What's an 'elder', Tony?
