This might be a stupid question. But my 4th grade teacher always told me that there aren't any stupid questions - just stupid people...
anyways,
I'm curious as to how this forum was created? Was it coded from scratch for the purpose of this very website, or is it purchased software - like "Invision Power Board" which, minus the styling is almost identical - with all the same features and layout.

I actually got my hands on a free ASP forum - set up very similar to this...
it became clear then that this forum was not coded for this particular use only.

You're right, this was based on the basic phpBB template, but Tony has done some work on it to customize it for this particular forum.
There are posts in the [url=http://www.csscreator.com/css-forum/9 Discussion[/url] area that cover some of the changes, but the first one that comes to mind is the Forum Stats page. I'm pretty sure Tony did that from scratch.
I'm sure Tony could fill in the blanks here!
