If your web page is as clever as you can make it, it's probably too clever for you to debug or maintain.

SaveIE6.com was put together as an April Fool’s joke by the uptime monitoring service Pingdom. Due to the tremendous interest it has received we have decided to keep this site up and running. Thanks everyone for the great feedback and for enjoying the irony!

Ditto. Looks like they added it some time today.

>>The quotes are just too close to the real world for comfort.

Especially this one:
“My motto: "If it works in IE6 then it'll work just fine in everything else." Why go through all the hassle of testing in other browser? Doesn't make any sense. IE6 is a wheel. Why reinvent it?”

I can't count the times I've seen a site/page with overlapping elements, wrong margins, etc. etc. in any standards compliant browser, and then I go look in IE6 and it's perfect. Which means that the person coded it specifically for IE and then didn't test any other browsers. Ugh.

Maybe with IE8 finally released officially, IE6 will get it's proper burial. It's older than the Ipod!
