Just been emailed a link to

Just been emailed a link to an article on this by a colleague but haven't had a chance to study in detail, although not sure that I like this idea? do we need more browsers? why does Google feel it necessary to bring a new one to the table? why is it that Google makes me feel ever so slightly uneasy? Hmm installed it and it

Hmm installed it and it looks extremely minimal in design, not something I would jump to use, seems to render a few test pages in dev ok, wonder if it's their own rendering engine? and if so what lovely bugs are to be found!

It's Safari

It's Safari AppleWebKit/525.13 / Konqueror KHTML engine.

What I like is how each tab creates a new process meaning if one tab crashes the browser wont...

It does seem fast...

I've just downloaded it and pages do seem to load very quickly. It seemed like entire webpages were loading at the speed usually associated with pages being updated using AJAX.

Pretty much click on any link and the page is instantly there.

As has been mentioned before it is very minimalist. It's not perfect (I suddenly had a desire to view a page I was trying in full screen mode. I hit F11 but nothing happened and I couldn't find an option for it anywhere else) but for speed I've never seen anything like it.

I usually use Firefox by default but I'm sure it's rendering much quicker than Opera too.

Nice

I like it.
Fast and light and a nice Firebug like tool built in, just right click and Inspect Element.

Another browser to test

I have tested it out a little and was a little excited to see some of it's built in features, but all in all it is yet another browser to test. LOL

Okay I know it shouldn't be much different than Safari, but I will be testing pages in Chrome none the less.

I also noticed that on my Vista machine, disc bullets displayed oddly with white corners. Depending on what size the font is it kinda looks dumb. I have tested Chrome on my XP PC and did not see the same issue. <>

Oh and I also noticed that

Oh and I also noticed that on the http://www.css3.info/ page, the lists elements have the following styles to get the rounded border corners.

-moz-border-radius-bottomleft:9px;
-moz-border-radius-bottomright:9px;

It only seems to half work in Chrome. Notice the black corners.

I've used chrome since it

I've used chrome since it came out, as my main browser.

You just 'cannot' beat it in speed! I've done speed tests with all the other main browsers (firefox, safari, netscape, opera, IE and even flock) Chrome 'always' wins!

That's why it's my fav, and I like the minimal design approch!

When I click open Konqueror

When I click open Konqueror it's also pretty fast.

But I think I think it's fast because I'm using Firefox, which is possibly the slowest browser in existence. And I don't have that many extensions on it.

Chrome is a faster Safari without the Sailor Moon look.

I'm no expert, but I fake one on teh Internets
