CSS coding for Wordpress

Basically I have designed and coded this layout .. I know its nothing special but its my first layout for a CMS

the one big problem I have is that the content box cuts the stuff out once it gets to the end ...

if u see the top post the numbers should end in 40 but it ends in 4 and the post under that has a 1000 px image in it that gets cut out which should automatically be re sized ...

if you using IE then you would most likly find more bugs etc and if u using FF and u find bugs plz let me know ..
