Good read , I'm going to find a use for this in passing to other coders who question CSS and it'sapparent cross browser bugginess and seeming lack of maturity as this Q & A goes some way to explaining the issues that beset CSS development.
One issue that I am interested in is this idea that a point release is implemented so that much needed features could be rolled out as quickly as possible, as it's simply not good enough to try and keep explaining to people that CSS3 offers the world and all will be alright eventually when it finally sees the full light of day.
