My personal fav was the ad for software that takes a .psd file and completely automates the process of converting it to Semantic!, accessible!, full css-p! :jawdrop: :curse:
On a standards based hand coding forum, bloody insulting really , makes me wonder how long it will actually be before we are redundent.
Note to self: must concentrate more on PHP!

Biggest problem is that it's generally only web designers that appreciate the time effort and skill (or not) that went into a websites' design.
Users don't praise when it works easily, just *beep* when it doesn't (rightly so I guess), but our clients generally don't notice the benefits. I have started making it very clear from my initial contact that I do things differently than most because... (insert accesibility, usability and SEO advantages of well thought out and coded sites here), followed by pointing out what a lot of WD's do wrong and why my way is the better way. Still, it makes those initial emails or presentations quite a lot more 'wordy'.
Anyway, I know I'm preaching to the converted here so that's enough - good to get it off your chest though.
