New UK accessibility standards

Isn't this the same thing that we discussed a while ago when it was going to be an ISO standard?

Just about yet under a different name  so we have another set of guidelines

They purport to follow the WAI guidelines so do the European rulings .It says that although a guidance is likely to be used in court proceedings where compliance is sought of a website , as would the European legislation which as far as I'm aware holds precedence over British courts, do we need another set of guidelines? or are these ones any more clear? Everyone wants to get in on the act.
