ok, i tried using visibility:hidden to remove some of those frenster ads and it worked. The top banner and side "box" ad disappeared.

But, the later left a big ugly space there, is there anyway to remove this?

And the ads are "class="

But when i try visibility:hidden on "div id=" they wont work.

Any ideas?[/code]

{visibility:hidden} question

Hmmm,
R u sure you had 'completely removed' those ads?
Because as far as I know, friendster had filtered some of their classes such as sponsorsAd, banner_ad_fix, right_column_bigbox and etc! So, whenever we insert like :

.sponsorsAd
visibility:hidden

Friendster would filter those classes and in our profile source code, it would appear as :

.123
visibility:hidden

And, I was the same as U! First, I thought that I had completely removed those ads as they weren't appearing at that time and were shouting HURRAYYY!! But after a few days, those ads appeared back! Evil

*edit by Triumph - let's leave it at that.

We are not going to discuss removing ads from a free internet service here. This is highly unethical. Ever wonder why they may be defeating your attempts?
