Is there a way to make a suckerfish drop down menu have a TTL variable or interval variable so that when a user traverses the menu, it delays disappearing for 500 milliseconds? Can this be done with a pure css and html menu? Do I need to add javascript to accomplish this? If yes, any idea where I can find out what the code is?

How could it? Neither HTML nor CSS are aware of time.

Will javascript work?

Will Javascript accomplish this? Or is there another language that would be better? Can anything be added to the suckerfish menu to accomplish this?
