IE7 Windows XP - 2 CPU's 2 very different renderings?

This one has been bugging me as I've been unable to figure it out,
I made a site using a relatively positioned wrapper with absolute positioning inside,
when I look at the site on my computer using IE5.5 - IE8 or any version of Firefox it renders correctly (with a modified css for IE)
when it is looked at from a different computer it is way off
I'm attaching 2 versions of the rendering the first shows other computer renderings, the 2nd is on my screen
anyone have an idea why this would be?
first time I've seen the same browser and OS render something nearly completely different??
Why isn't common sense more common?

So murphy strikes again,
I ask a simple question, and don't post the URL
only to figure it out 5 minutes after posting
feel free to take a look at http://www.mitesdesign.com/examples/gotgame4u
had the wrapper losing before everything else, still not sure why it was acting funny the way it was though I suspect it was from different screen resolutions
worth a good chuckle
